Call for Presentations & Student Talent

Presentation Proposals

We are currently seeking proposals for education sessions that will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21. We invite you to submit a proposal designed to equip boards with content knowledge, practical tips and tools to energize their districts/AEAs, inspire change and advance student achievement. The deadline for submitting a proposal is Monday, June 3, 2024.

Student Talent Submissions

We're delighted to be planning our IASB Annual Convention set for Thursday, Nov. 21! The IASB Convention will start with the Opening General Session at 8 a.m. on Nov. 21 in the Grand Ballroom of the Iowa Events Center in downtown Des Moines. Once again, we're excited to make student performers a focal point of our Opening General Session. These students not only represent Iowa's tradition of musical excellence in our schools, but they set an inspiring and enthusiastic tone for the day. The application deadline is Friday, June 21, 2024.

Trade Show

The IASB^® Annual Convention & Trade Show is the flagship event for governance teams from Iowa public schools. Book a booth and your company will have the opportunity to share information and reach new customers as you meet and greet 1,000 school board members, superintendents/administrators, and other key education decision makers.

As a provider of school services and supplies, our Trade Show is your best opportunity to meet these education leaders. For 79 years, the Annual Convention and Trade Show has drawn school board members and school administrators to Des Moines each fall.

Vendor registration opens on May 1, 2024.
