Board President Webinar Series: Building the Budget—What is My Role?
Jan. 28,
5:30 p.m. (Larger Districts) &
7 p.m. (Smaller Districts)
NEW! Building a budget is a complex process, and as the board president, you may have asked yourself some of the following questions: Have we had a robust discussion of our district’s educational and operational priorities, and are we putting resources where they are needed? Do we have a budget timeline and if so, are we following it? How do we best consider budget reductions? What is my role in shepherding this process? We’ll discuss these and other budget development questions with fellow board president peers and IASB staff. You won't want to miss this meeting where you'll gain key insights and new tools to use at the board table. The
5:30 p.m. webinar is designed for board presidents from larger districts, while the
7 p.m. webinar is designed for board presidents from smaller districts; however, board leaders from districts of any size are welcome to attend either webinar. These
75-minute webinars are
free to members and recording(s) will be posted to the
Recordings & Resources page.
Priorities in Primetime Webinar Series

Note: These webinars replace the training portion of Day on the Hill. The
Virtual Lobby Days replace the advocacy portion.
Virtual Lobby Days

due to the ongoing pandemic, we will not be able to gather together at
the Capitol to advocate. Instead, we invite you to join us for Virtual
Lobby Days throughout the legislative session. Learn more about what you
can do to safely lobby your legislators on IASB's priorities!
