64th Annual IASB Convention

November 19, 2009
(Pre-Convention activities November 18)
Hy-Vee Hall; Des Moines, Iowa

The current economic picture creates challenges, and opportunities. In response to member needs and tight budgets, IASB is altering the annual convention program to make it more affordable, while providing powerful training to help you lead. Please join us for pre-convention workshops, and one day of insightful education sessions to help Iowa board/superintendent teams thrive.

Nationally known experts discuss timely subjects dealing with education and world affairs. Prominent Iowans lend their talents to the program on school administration and educational programs. This event is attended by over 1,300 school board members, superintendents and other Iowa educators.

Pre-convention activities include the IASB Delegate Assembly (registration materials are sent separately).  Also, a School Finance Boot Camp, an Early Bird Workshop and Orientation to Governance session will occur the day before the convention.
