Join aid & levy and certified budget expert Lisa Oakley in hands-on workshops to help you produce your FY 2018 certified budget. Lisa will lead you through these sessions and help calculate your school district's spending authority, state foundation aid, and property taxes using 5Cast. 5Cast is Forecast5 Analytics’ budget projection tool that simulates scenarios so you can make data-informed decisions. Learn more about 5Cast. Not currently using 5Cast? Forecast5 is offering school districts free trials of 5Cast, which will provide full access to the tool during this workshop.

As full-day workshops, there is time for training, working on, and completing your certified budget. Participants will leave with a completed certified budget.

Forecast5 Analytics Senior Analytics Advisor Gary Sinclair, IASB School Finance Director Patti Schroeder and additional staff will be onsite for hands-on support. IASB, in partnership with Forecast5 Analytics, is offering these free, members-only workshops.

Workshop Details

Please bring your laptop computer with you to the workshop. After registering for a workshop, Forecast5 will contact you with instructions on how to get your data loaded into 5Cast in order to have your model built in advance of the workshop.

Fee: Free for IASB members. Workshops run from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. and include lunch. Registration closes two business weeks prior to the scheduled date, so Forecast5 can load your district's data into the tool.
