Superintendent Evaluation Corner
Tips and information for boards to use throughout the year
One of the school board's main tasks is to annually evaluate the superintendent who leads their district - this is an important role because it helps the team identify common goals to work toward. It is IASB’s position that this is an ongoing board responsibility, not a “one shot” effort in May or June. In this area of the Web site, IASB staff will provide information and tools all year round, to help you make the most of your board/superintendent team and the opportunities an evaluation provides.
Read the June 2010 tips here, including questions to ask as you evaluate how the process went this year.
