Facilitation Tools for Tough Budget Times

IASB, in partnership with the Iowa Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) and the School Administrators of Iowa (SAI) invites you to take advantage of our new, free toolkit, "Facilitation Tools for Tough Budget Times."

Purpose: This toolkit aims to help school board/superintendent teams look ahead toward future budget years and collaborate as a team, with the community, to prioritize district programs, needs and solutions.

Tools: The tools in this kit guide you through brainstorming, creating criteria, analyzing options, all the way to making final decisions. These steps will give you an objective, concrete way of making tough decisions, as well as guidance to help you achieve community buy-in.
